PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain shutter door device capable of improving design and safety and widely securing the daylight area without disclosing the rail when the rain shutter is completely closed or fully opened. SOLUTION: The rain shutter door device is provided with a frame 3 formed of the upper frame 3a, the lower frame 3b right and left vertical frames 3c disposed at the outdoor side of a window 2 installed in an opening of a building and rain shutter doors 5, 5 provided to be slidably openable/closable to both sides through a sliding rail 4 at least at the upper frame 3a. The sliding rail 4 has a fixed rail 4a fitted to the upper frame 3a and right and left movable rail 4c supported to be freely slidable through a intermediate rail 4b in the fixed rail 4a. The movable rail 4c is fitted to back face side of the rain shutter door 5, the rain shutter door 5 is constituted so that it is retained in the state extruded at more outside than both vertical frames 3c when it is fully opened.
