PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car stop which is erected on the ground, distorts its post in order to absorb and ease a shock when a vehicle or the like collides with the car stop, and facilitates change of the rigidity and flexing properties of the post. SOLUTION: The car stop is formed of a hollow post skin, a pedestal integrally connected to a lower end of the post skin, a reinforcing body integrally connected to the pedestal and arranged in the post skin up to a desired height, and a foam body filled in the post skin. The post is constructed by filling and foaming the foam body in the post skin. Therefore by selectively combining materials of the post skin and the foam body with each other, the desired rigidity is imparted to the post, and also the bending property at the height of the reinforcing body is imparted to the post.
