PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box sealing apparatus, which is small-sized and requires a smaller installation space, is provided inexpensively, is adjusted easily to a change in the layout of processes including a sealing process, and is capable of performing the sealing process at high speed to improve productivity while preventing a distortion of a box. SOLUTION: On the box sealing apparatus, a reception stage (5), a pasting stage (6), and an ejecting stage (7) are arranged in a row, with a press stage (9) arranged at the side of the ejecting stage (7). The apparatus is also provided with a position keeping means (16), which keeps the box (10) in a given solid position and is reciprocated between the reception stage (5) and the ejection stage (7) by a drive means (17). The pasting stage (9) includes an adhesive applying means (18), which applies an adhesive to an application part (14) of the box (10) that passes the pasting stage (6). The ejection stage (7) includes an ejection means (19), which receives the box (10) from the position keeping means (16) reaching the ejection stage (7) and ejects the box (10) to the press stage (9), where a press means (20) folds and press an outer lid flap (12c) of the box (10) on the top of it.
