PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body member joining structure capable of effectively absorbing distortion accompanied by the joining of dissimilar metals with each other. SOLUTION: A joining face of an aluminum roof panel 1 and a joining face of a steel-made side roof rail 8 are joined with each other by non-penetration type rivets 15 with electric insulating type adhesive 16 for structural use interposed between the joining faces, and a bead 17 extending along the joining faces is formed on the aluminum roof panel 1.
