PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic bias tire capable of improving working efficiency for rim assembling without deteriorating productivity. SOLUTION: The pneumatic bias tire is equipped with carcasses 1P to 4P each having a four-ply structure extending from a crown 11 to both beads 13 through both sides 12. The carcasses 1P, 4P of first and fourth plies among the carcasses 1P to 4P from the first ply to the fourth ply counted from the inside of the tire are disposed so as to be folded from the inside of the tire toward the outside around a bead core 15 embedded in the bead 13. The carcasses 2P, 3P of a second ply and a third ply interposed between the carcasses 1P, 4P of the first and fourth plies are terminated at the upper part of the bead core 15 without being folded.
