ULTRAFINE FIBER NONWOVEN FABRIC AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

摘要

[PROBLEMS] To provide a process for producing a nonwoven fabric of split conjugate spun fibers that excels in flexibility, pickup and dust collection characteristics and can be obtained at low cost, and provide an ultrafine fiber nonwoven fabric produced by the process. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The desired nonwoven fabric is obtained through a process comprising extruding two different types of resins through a spinneret fitted with a conjugate spinning nozzle, drawing the extrudate into split conjugate fiber filaments of given fineness, piling the split conjugate fiber filaments on a collection belt so as to obtain a nonwoven fabric, and applying a load for stretching so that there can be obtained a nonwoven fabric of ultrafine fibers with 0.01 to 2.0 d(denier) fineness wherein the fineness of constituent fibers is uniformalized.
