<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of generating high power output without taking heat resistance, complication of device construction or the like into consideration, and to provide an operating method of the fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system, generating power with liquid fuel, equipped with an open-type fuel cell 120 and a circulating fuel cell 110, can obtain a power necessary for starting the circulating fuel cell from the open-type fuel cell. By the above, as it is not necessary to use another power source like a secondary battery, the fuel cell system of a high output can be provided without taking heat resistance, complication of device construction or the like into consideration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
