<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous fluorescent ink for inkjet recording that has high fluorescence intensity. <P>SOLUTION: The aqueous fluorescent ink for inkjet recording comprises water, a fluorescent dye and a polyol wherein the polyol has two hydroxy groups having a distance between oxygen at one hydroxy group and oxygen at another hydroxy group substantially equal to or longer than the length of the skeleton at which the fluorescent dye exhibits fluorescence. In the case when the fluorescent dye has a xanthene skeleton, 1,5-pentane diol can be used as the polyol. The ink has high fluorescence intensity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
