<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer storage container capable of guiding a developer between the outer periphery part of a container main body and the inner periphery part of a supporting member to a recess formed on the container main body. <P>SOLUTION: The developer storage container includes: the container main body formed in the shape of a cylinder in which the developer is stored, provided with 1st and 2nd recessed parts caving radially inward and also a discharge hole for discharging the developer on its outer periphery part, and carrying the stored developer to the discharge hole by rotating around an axis; and the supporting member covering all over the periphery of at least a part including the recessed part and the discharge hole from a radially outer side, supporting the container main body to freely rotate around the axis, formed to face the moving path of the recessed part by the rotation of the container main body and provided with a conduction hole for guiding the developer discharged from the discharge hole of the container main body to the outside. Furthermore, the developer storage container is provided with, on the outer periphery part of the container main body, a plurality of discharge guiding pieces projecting radially outward, spaced away from the inner periphery part of the supporting member and spaced circumferentially. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
