PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a stator coil and to make a maintenance operation easy.

SOLUTION: An insulating protective cover 11 tightly fitted to a stator coil 9 is arranged on the ground side of the stator coil 9 protruding from a stator core 7. The protective cover 11 is so provided with a ventilation hole 11a as to face the gap formed between the tips of the stator coils 9 protruding from the stator core 7. An insert 10 is protruded from the stator core 7 so that the stator core 7 side of the protective cover 11 is pressurized by the insert 10 against the stator coil 9 and supported. The side opposite to the stator core 7 of the protective cover 11 is fixed to the stator coil 9 with an insulating clamp member 12 that penetrates the ventilation hole 11a, and the stator coil 9 is integrated with the protective cover 11 using an insulating varnish.
