<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for heating a toroidal hot-rolled wire rod, which is applied to a wire rod heat-treatment line, and rapidly and uniformly reheats the wire rod to a predetermined heating temperature, and to provide a heating method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The device has at least two induction coils which have different directions of alternating magnetic fields generated around the toroidal wire rod, arranged so as to be superposed at the same position with respect to a transporting direction of the toroidal wire rod. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
