PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent malfunction of white balance processing while maintaining restraints of colors in a good state. SOLUTION: Processing executed by a signal processing circuit of an image processor to control white balance processing comprises a step (S1021) of calculating the changing amount of a color gain, a step (S104) of acquiring the present value of an R gain, a step (S108) of calculating the correction value of the color gain when it is judged that the white balance processing is executed on the basis of the changing amount (YES in S1022), a step (S110) of calculating the correction value of a color gain (R' gain) on the basis of a black body radiation characteristic, and a step (S114) of executing the white balance processing using the correction value when the difference between the R gain and the R' gain is contained within a predetermined range (YES in S112).
