PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic transducer that can be reduced in size and thickness and can detect magnetic fields in triaxial directions. SOLUTION: Two Hall elements 9 are fixed on a lead frame for an electromagnetic transducer in a perpendicular positional relation and electrically connected to the lead frame through a metal or a conductive resin. In addition, the pellets 6 of the Hall elements 9 and a semiconductor chip 4 having an integrated circuit are fixed on the lead frame, and the internal electrodes of the pellets 6 and the semiconductor chip 4 are electrically connected to the lead frame through thin metallic wires 12. The Hall elements 9 are disposed in a state that normal lines to their magnetism sensing sections are made parallel to the surface of the lead frame, and made to intersect each other at right angles. Thus, magnetic fields can be detected in the X- and Y-directions. The pellets 6 of the Hall element 9 are disposed on the lead frame in a state that the normal lines to their magnetism sensing sections are made perpendicular to the surface of the lead frame.
