PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an element which has an electric resistance varying with a temperature at which adhesion between a sheet member and a metallic member can be secured even when heat generation caused by an overload, a rise in the ambient temperature or the like takes place. SOLUTION: Parts 11 of metallic pieces 10 are bonded onto front and back sides of a sheet 1 of a polymer-based conductive composition to be overlapped with each other, and a plurality of exhaust holes 20 are made in the parts 11 of the bonded metallic pieces 10. Since the plurality of exhaust holes 20 suppress or prevent a gas from being filled in gaps between the sheet 1 and the metallic pieces 10 and also relax a difference in expansion coefficient between the sheet 1 and the metallic pieces 10, heat generation caused by an overload or a rise in an ambient temperature can prevent a gap or peel-off from taking place between the front and back sides of the sheet 1 and the metallic pieces 10. Consequently, adhesion between the sheet 1 and the metallic pieces 10 can be secured. This can eliminate a disadvantageous situation that a gap between conductive and non-conductive parts takes place, its shut-down function is deteriorated, or a serious case takes place.
