摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescence lifetime measuring device capable of acquiring a distribution image of the fluorescence lifetime in a short time by a simple method. SOLUTION: In this fluorescence lifetime measuring device 1, a sample is irradiated with excitation light, and fluorescence photons emitted from the sample are measured in a plurality of time zones, and the fluorescence lifetime is calculated from the measured fluorescence photons. The device is equipped with an excitation light control part 2B for controlling the excitation light, a region specification part 2D for specifying a scanning region of the excitation light, a fluorescence lifetime calculation part 2E for calculating the fluorescence lifetime based on the fluorescence photons from the region specified by the region specification part 2D, and a fluorescence lifetime calculation control part 2A for controlling operations wherein the excitation light control part 2B irradiates a sample wide area with the excitation light, the region specification part 2D specifies the region based on the fluorescence by irradiation, the excitation light control part 2B irradiates the specified region with the excitation light, and the fluorescence lifetime calculation part 2E calculates the fluorescence lifetime.
