PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector for disaster prevention equipment which makes the equipment located in a high-level radiation zone less susceptible to radiation and makes it possible to easily and quickly replace the equipment accommodated in the protector as described above. SOLUTION: The protector for the disaster prevention equipment 5 is located in the high-level radiation zone. The protector includes a main body part 71 formed on the outer periphery of the equipment 5 and a cover part 81 which is connected to the main body part 71 with connectors 90 and 94 so that the cover part 81 can open and close and covers the equipment 5, and the main body part 71 and the cover part 81 consist of radiation shielding members 72 and 82 which shield the equipment 5 from radiation.
