PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-luminous pointer capable of clearly indicating changes in the state of an object to be displayed without having to complicate the constitution of a dial side. SOLUTION: The self-luminous pointer 10 makes an indicating part 11, for displaying measured quantities in such a way as to be visually recognizable for an observer in cooperation with indexes of a scale and the like of a dial, emit light by light guided into the indicating part 11. The indicating part 11 is provided with both a plurality of divided light guiding members 12a, b arranged in a row in a width direction which intersects with the direction of extension of the indicating part 11 and a preventing means 13 for preventing the light guided into the divided light guiding members 12a, b from being incident onto other adjacent divided light guiding members 12a, b, and the indicating part 11 is constituted in such a way as to emit light only by light incident onto the divided light guiding members 12a, b.
