PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weight of an integral type caliper 5b structuring an opposed piston type disk brake by forming it from an aluminum alloy, and to maintain rigidity of the caliper 5b even under the high-temperature condition, restricting the cost. SOLUTION: Both of intermediate parts of an outer body 3b and an inner body of the caliper 5b are connected to each other by a pair of outside connecting pins 16 and 16 having a large Young's modulus and one intermediate connecting pin 17 to prevent the generation of deformation in a direction for enlarging an interval between both the bodies 3b as much as possible even when braking under the high-temperature condition. The outside connecting pins 16 and 16 have a function for supporting the brake torque to be applied to an outer pad 11a and an inner pad. The intermediate connecting pin 17 has a function for locking a pad clip 21. With this structure, rise of the manufacturing cost of the caliper 5b can be prevented in comparison with a case of providing the connecting pin for the only purpose of securing rigidity.
