PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission chain capable of effectively suppressing the occurrence of abnormal wear and abnormal slippage even if a mis-alignment is present between pulleys and having excellent silentness and a power transmission device using the chain. SOLUTION: This power transmission chain 1 comprises a plurality of links 2 having through holes 4, a plurality of pins 3 inserted into the through holes 4 and connecting the plurality of links 2 to each other, and a plurality of strips 5 inserted into the through holes 4 and having one side faces in contact with one side faces of the pins 3.
