STRUCTURE FOR REGULATING YARN TENSION IN HOSIERY KNITTING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for regulating yarn tension in a hosiery knitting machine designed to apply optimal supporting force to each site having a different girth of each foot, respectively when hosiery is worn. SOLUTION: The structure for regulating the yarn tension is composed as follows. The support type hosiery is knitted with the hosiery knitting machine 1. The setting of the tension of a yarn 9 fed to the knitting machine body 3 can optionally be changed by changing the tension of an operation wire 13 leading from an operation regulating mechanism 7 to a bell crank 12 of a rotating drum 5 and thereby regulating holding force for the yarn 9 between holding disks 14a and 14b during knitting operation of the hosiery knitting machine 1.
