PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-separating apparatus and a liquid separator which permit easy and continuous treatment of impurities contained in a liquid and are sufficiently small and simple to be attached to an apparatus using a liquid. SOLUTION: The separator 2 is for separating one of unmiscible two liquids. The separator 2 has a separating unit 5 connected with a storage vessel 3 storing the two liquids and separating the two liquids incoming from the vessel 3 into two layers and a discharging unit 6 protruding into the inside of the separating unit 5 and extending over the separating unit 5 and then downward after reaching a specified height.
