<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket for a handrail obtaining a positive clamping feeling without forming a clearance between a grip bar and the tips of receiving parts of clamping members. <P>SOLUTION: In this bracket for the handrail, a pair of clamping members 1, 2 for clamping the grip bar B are formed with the receiving parts 3 curved along the outer periphery of the grip bar B, and support parts 4, 7 extending downward from the base ends of the receiving parts, wherein the support parts 4, 7 of both clamping members 1, 2 are made to butt each other at abutting surfaces 5, 8 and clamped by a bolt 10. In this case, the support part 7 of at least one clamping member 2 is shaped such that a lower part from the clamped position of the abutting surface 8 by the bolt 10 projects onto the abutting surface 5 side of the other clamping member 1. Since the tips of the receiving parts 3 are drawn close to each other following the clamping of both clamping members 1, 2, a clearance between the tips of the receiving parts 3 and the grip bar B is dissolved, and the grip bar B can be positively clamped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
