PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unauthorized accesses to a system over a network. SOLUTION: A security system is equipped with a server computer 2 which is connected to a user terminal 1 via the network N and used according to access from the user terminal 1 and has an authenticating function of authenticating the user terminal, when being accessed by the user terminal 1. The server computer 2 has an unauthorized user inquiring function of sending an inquiry to another computer on the network, to specify the user of a user terminal according to information sent from the user terminal when deciding by the authenticating function that the access by the user terminal 1 is unauthorized and an illegal user information acquiring function of acquiring information regarding the illegal user specified by another computer on the network.
