PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing filled with lubricant-containing polymer in which a retainer is covered by the lubricant-containing polymer by a simple method even if the rolling bearing is formed such that the retainer is projected outward from the end face of either of an inner ring and an outer ring and a method of manufacturing the rolling bearing. SOLUTION: This rolling bearing filled with the lubricant-containing polymer comprises the inner ring 2, the outer ring 3, a plurality of rolling elements 4 interposed between the inner ring 2 and the outer ring 3, and the retainer 5 holding the rolling elements 4 and projected outward from the end face of either of the inner ring 2 and the outer ring 3. The rolling bearing is formed such that the retainer 5 is covered by the lubricant-containing polymer 6 filled in a space formed by the inner ring 2, the outer ring 3, the rolling elements 4, and the retainer 5.
