PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joystick input device which is in simple structure, can impart a feeling of artificial parallel movement to a tilt operation knob, and has superior beauty and safety in a cabin. SOLUTION: The joystick input device comprises a tilt member 19 having a tilt shaft 19b and a driving piece 19c radially extended from one end of the tile shaft 19b, a tilt detecting means 16 which is driven by the driving piece 19c and detects the tilt direction of the tilt member 19, a tilt and depress operation member fitted to the other end of the tilt shaft 19b, a lower case 11 containing the driving piece 19c and tilt detecting means 16, and an upper case 32 fitted to the lower case 11. The tile shaft 19b is put in the upper case 32 and a cylindrical panel fitting part 81 is formed which is inserted into a cylindrical input device holding part A formed on a panel P.
