PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underfloor storage device for manual rise and fall type capable of maintaining small force required for rise and fall at low cost even if weight of a storage object is increased. SOLUTION: In this underfloor storage device storing a storage vessel 1 moved up and down in the vertical direction by manual operation in an underfloor space 32 below an opening 31 formed in a floor 3, a fixed pulley 4 is attached in the underfloor space or on the floor, the storage vessel 1 is suspended on one side of the fixed pulley 4 in a well bucket type, weight W is attached to the other side of the fixed pulley 4, and this weight W is substantially balanced with total weight of the storage vessel 1 storing storage objects 2, 2a.
