WATER RETENTIVE PAVING MAT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water retentive paving mat preventing a heat island phenomenon of city environment caused by heat radiation from a road in the daytime and release of accumulated heat at night. SOLUTION: This water retentive paving mat is constituted by fixing a water permeable rubber layer to a water retentive base having undercut parts at the ends, by integral forming. Or the paving mat is constituted by holding the water retentive base in an impermeable container, and sealing it with a lid formed of a water permeable rubber layer.
