PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that it is difficult to install a conventional sprinkler head in a small place since the vertical dimension of thr sprinkler head internally provided with its support mechanism is enlarged in order to secure the dimension for projecting a deflector in the case of an operation, and there is the risk causing unforeseen accidents since its lower end is protruded from a ceiling surface. SOLUTION: A valve 3 for closing the spout 1a of a head main body 1 is connected with an expansible shaft 4 to the deflector 8 which is held in a storage state by a thermosensitive decomposition part 15 and protruded in a hanging state in the case of a fire. A support board 6 in the main body with the shaft 4 penetrating therethrough includes a plurality of inclined water guide holes 6a or water guide grooves. The fire-fighting water jetted from the spout 1a in the case of the operation is guided in a helical shape to be allowed to collide with the deflector 8. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
