PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fraudulent alteration of the setting by forcing malicious persons to make conspicuous actions visible to the people surrounding them. SOLUTION: An opening 15 is provided at the side upper part of an upper door 6. An authentification display device 18 is arranged inside a slot machine 2 while being narrowly directed to the opening 15. In the alteration of the setting, the setting value is required to be displaced on a display device 14 and the authentification value on the authentification display device 18 separately. When the setting alteration button is depressed, the setting value displayed on the display device 14 and the authentification value on the authentification display device 18 are altered. However, since the authentification display device 18 and the display device 14 can not be observed simultaneously, in case of the fraudulent alteration of the setting, it is necessary to look at the display on the setting display device 18 through the side upper part of the upper door 6, thereby forcing the malicious persons to make actions clearly different from those in the games.
