Formulation for rinsing textile fiber articles in an aqueous or aqueous-alcoholic medium, comprising an active substance comprising a solid, hydrophobic organic polymer in particulate form, a surfactant and a vehicle comprising a water-soluble organic polymer, the vehicle being capable of bringing said active substance to the surface of said textile fiber articles in the rinsing operation.
