The invention relates to driver's cab for construction machine for hydraulic excavator, which can reduce operator's manually switching frequency of a screen by making images preferentially displayed on a monitor selectable according to the operating conditions of a construction machine. Images preferentially displaying an operating condition of a hydraulic shovel as a construction machine operated in a working mode, and images preferentially displayed at the time of an idling mode are set in a preferential image setting part 32 in a control device 20 of a monitor 13. The images detected by anengine speed , the position of a gate lock lever and the like, and preferentially displayed on the monitor 13 in the respective modes can be set. And also, desired images are displayed on the monitor13 instead of the preferential images by switching a switch 34 as needed.
