<p>A generator comprising a shaft (16), plurality of magnetic disks (19) coupled to the shaft, each of the plurality of magnetic disks having a plurality of permanent magnets arranged with alternative north and south poles (25), the axis of the poles substantially axially aligned with the shaft, a stator (20) having a plurality of induction coils centered on the circumference of a circular region (22) matching that of the permanent magnets positioned on an adjacent said magnetic disk such that when the permanent magnetic disks are rotated by the shaft current is generated in the induction coil, core members (35) inserted into the induction coils concentrate magnetic filed, control means (45) control the movement of the core members.</p> |
