<p>This invention discloses a method for old or defect dam's renovation. The concrete dam in hydraulic or electric power works will have different extent decays alter running for period of time, if seriously that will break the working order of the dam. The method of this invention involves excavating the traffic tunnels (5) and the silos (6) inside the original dam (1) first, then excavating the foundation tunnels (7) of the seepage control walls, pouring concrete, excavating alternately to form one or more seepage control walls (4). Therefor replacing the material of aging dam by the seepage control walls made by new materiale, radically solved the problem of dam's aging. In this method of this invention, it uses the existing equipment and technology and has better reinforcing effect, without breaking the working order of the dam.</p> |
