<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coloring composition for forming an image forming the image having high fastness under various service conditions and environmental conditions, to provide ink for inkjet recording and a method for inkjet recording and to provide a heat-sensitive recording material, a color toner and a color filter. <P>SOLUTION: The coloring composition for forming the image comprises an azo dye having a specific structure using a coupler having an electron attractive group as a coupling component.
