STATOR OF ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of a rotary electric machine having a structure of a lead wire which improves productivity of a coil by size-reducing the stator by decreasing a space for coupling the lead wire and shortening a mounting time of the coil and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The stator of the rotary electric machine includes a stator core 2 having a plurality of slots 4 axially extended at a predetermined pitch by abutting both ends of a strip-like laminate obtained by laminating thin steel sheets in an annular state, and a plurality of sets of coils made of two long conductors and mounted so that the two conductors are folded at an outside of an end face of the stator core 2 and an inner layer and an outer layer are alternately adopted in a depth direction of the slot 4 in the slot 4 at each predetermined number of slots. The method for manufacturing the stator of the rotary electric machine includes a step of mounting the plurality of sets of the coils in the respective slots 4, and a step of concentrating and disposing the plurality of the lead wires 3 connected to an electric circuit of an exterior by connecting the plurality of the sets of the conductors in series.
