PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste toner box exactly detecting an amount of waste toner even when surrounding atmosphere, in particular, humidity is changed. SOLUTION: The waste toner box A is equipped with a box main body 10 in which the waste toner T' is stored and a rotating member 11 stirring the waste toner T' by rotating in the main body 10, and is constituted so that the box A can detect the amount of the waste toner T' in the main body 10 in accordance with the rotational torque of the member 11.
