PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal in which the emotion of a pet animal such as dog or cat can be identified from its cry without deteriorating a sound quality during a call. SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal comprises: a microphone 2 for converting speaking voices and animal's cries into electric signals and outputting them as audio signals; a variable filter 8 for switching a predetermined speech band a cry band adding a wider frequency band to the speech band to be selected as a passband and restricting an audio signal band according to the selected passband; a radio communication processing section 13 for transmitting an audio signal of which the band is restricted by the speech band, by radio as a transmission sound; and an emotion identification processing section 12 for analyzing the frequency of the cry band with respect to the audio signal of which the band is restricted by the cry band, and identifying the emotion of the animal on the basis of the result of the analysis.
