PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a side part of a break of a guard fence is not clearly visible at night. SOLUTION: This guard fence is provided with a plurality of posts erected at predetermined spaces, and fence bodies supported to the posts. Each fence body is provided at its side part with a self-luminous body emitting light by electricity. The self-luminous body is provided on a plane different from a plane including the adjacent post. A light projecting aperture of the self-luminous body points almost parallel with the plane including the adjacent post and almost in a horizontal direction. The fence body is provided with cross rails laid at the posts, and the self-luminous body may be coaxially mounted to the end of the cross rail. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
