PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide continuous printing paper having high whiteness/opacity for presenting suitability to color printing, maintaining adequate sizability and proper coefficient of friction, and good in printability with high smoothness. SOLUTION: The continuous printing paper contains as the filler≥10 wt.% of at least one kind of precipitated calcium carbonate among needle-, column-, spindle- and whisker-shaped ones, preferably with an aspect ratio of 5 or greater and also contains an alkenylsuccinic anhydride as the internally additive sizing agent.
