PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the operation of applying a coupling medium (jelly) when the bone density is measured. SOLUTION: The device is for applying the coupling medium (jelly) to a measured region (heel), which is inserted between rollers 1 of the device at the time of measurement with a device for evaluating the progress of osteoporosis utilizing ultrasonic waves. The outer surface of each roller is made of a spongy material, in which the coupling medium (jelly) 3 previously contained in a tray 2 is adsorbed, so that the coupling medium (jelly) can be easily applied to the measured region (heel).
