PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cigarette butt-receiving container which can perfectly extinguish cigarette butts, can simplify a work for recovering and scrapping the cigarette butts, and can cleanly hold air around the cigarette butt-receiving container. SOLUTION: This smoke-separating apparatus which has a casing 3 and in which cigarette butt-receiving containers 1 and smoke-sucking portions 2 are disposed in the casing 3 itself or on the casing 3 is characterized by building a membrane separation type nitrogen gas-enriching device 4, a nitrogen gas channel 5 for guiding nitrogen gas released from the membrane separation type nitrogen gas-forming device 4 into the cigarette butt-receiving containers 1, a blower 6 for absorbing the smoke of cigarettes from the smoke-sucking portions 2, in the casing 3, and having a highly concentrated oxygen blowout port 30 for exhausting the highly concentrated oxygen released from the membrane separation type nitrogen gas-forming device 4 in the outer wall of the casing 3.
