PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition which is excellent in deterging performances and finish feelings and is enhanced in powder characteristics such as caking resistance. SOLUTION: The detergent composition comprises (A) specific surfactant-containing granules comprising (a) a specific polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether sulfate salt, (b) another specific polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether sulfate salt other than (a), (c) an alkyl sulfate salt, (d) a water-soluble inorganic salt and/or a water-insoluble inorganic salt and (e) water, and (B) specific clay mineral-containing particles.
