<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device using a general-purpose medical injection needle, improving the safety and used with the medical injection needle. <P>SOLUTION: This safety device is provided with a base 11 for mounting the medical injection needle N, a movable member 12 turnably connected to the base 11, and operation drive part 2 retained slidably in the orthogonal direction to the turning shaft of the movable member 12 in the base 11; and the movable member 12 is turned with the sliding of the operation drive part 2 so that the injection needle N is stored in the movable member 12.
