<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have high rigidity and a high rotational frequency by practically specifying the arrangement position and state of the slit of a disk-like tool, to improve durability, and to suppress the occurrence of cutting vibration. <P>SOLUTION: In a circular saw 10, imaginary regions 13 formed by being surrounded by two concentric circles on a base 11 making two radius lines extending from the rotation center of the base 11 and the rotation center concentric are formed continuously in the circumferential direction. The central angle made by the radius lines is 90°or below, and the number of the imaginary regions is 4-24. A central concentric circle positioned at the center of the distance between the concentric circles forming the imaginary regions, when the maximum tooth bottom radius is r, is in a range of 0.6r-0.8r in relation to the rotation center of the base. The lap of continuously adjacent imaginary regions is 0-12°. The minimum approach distance of adjacent slits is at least 0.05r.
