PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying device which, in order to dry a washing liquid adhering to a hoop material, miniaturizes the entire size in entire device and generates quite few noises without deforming the hoop material. SOLUTION: A drying device for hoop materials 4 has a plurality of parts 41 formed in a predetermined shape and a carrier part 42 connected to the respective parts 41 and formed in a band-like shape at least on its either side, for drying the hoop materials 4 sequentially transferred. The drying device comprises a heating plate 320 having a heating part 321 which abuts against the carrier part 42 to conduct heat and a recessed part 322 provided in order to avoid contact with the parts 41, and a heat generating source 323 which supplies heat to this heating plate 322. By providing a width adjusting member 324 on the recessed part 322 of the heating plate to vary the width of the recessed part, the drying device can cope with the hoop materials 4 having various widths.
