HEAT EXCHANGER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger comprising a plate fin mechanically joined to a tube and a method for manufacturing it, in which the joint of the tube longitudinal end to a header plate can be performed without requiring a high-temperature heating furnace. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger comprises a core part 110 composed of the fin 111 and the tube 112 for passing a fluid in the inner part, the tube being inserted and mechanically joined to the plate fin 111. The longitudinal end of the tube 112 is joined to the header plate 113 constituting a part of a header tank 120. The joint of the tube 112 to the header plate 113 is performed by solid-phase welding.
