PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video object locus composing apparatus capable of extracting a video object from a video image, tracing the object and composing moving loci of the video object on a video image in real time. SOLUTION: The video object locus composing apparatus 1 is characterized in that an object candidate image generation means 10 generates an object candidate image for extracting a candidate of a video object from a frame image configuring a video image, an object extract means 30 extracts a feature quantity for characterizing a position of a video object being a tracing object and the video object from the object candidate image on the basis of a preset extract condition 20a, a locus image generation means 50 generates a locus image 60a for drawing only a moving locus of the video object, and an image composite means 70 composes the locus image 60a with the frame image.
