PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a squeegee polishing device, a squeegee polishing method and a printing method for a plasma display using a squeegee, for guaranteeing smoothness of the edge of the squeegee. SOLUTION: This polishing device is composed of a holding mechanism 10-1 for fixing a work 6 processed into the squeegee, a moving mechanism 20-2 relatively reciprocatingly moved to the holding mechanism 10-1, and a rotary grinding wheel 17 held by the moving mechanism 20-2. The polished work 6 has a first surface and a second surface 21 crossing the first surface. The second surface 21 corresponds to a polishing surface of the known squeegee. The rotary grinding wheel 17 forms an edge surface on the work 6 for printing printing ink in a screen by polishing the work 6. In the squeegee processed in this way, paste flowing on the edge surface is transferred to the screen when approaching the printing screen. The occurrence of the hindrance cause of hindering smooth fluidity in transfer such as a burr is effectively restrained, and smoothness of the edge of the squeegee is guaranteed.
