摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical fiber multilayer coating by which sufficient adhesion strength with an adjacent coating layer is imparted to an optical fiber coating layer having sufficient surface characteristics, and to provide a liquid hardening-type resin composition for an optical fiber coating which significantly shows the above effect when a multilayer coating of the liquid hardening-type resin composition is produced by the above method. SOLUTION: An optical fiber multilayer coating is produced by irradiating the surface of an optical fiber coating layer with an electron beam at 45 to 150 kV acceleration voltage in the presence of 100 to 300 ppm oxygen. The effect of improving the adhesion strength is significantly obtained when the liquid hardening-type resin composition contains an urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer having 8,000 to 12,000 molecular weight in an amount of 1 to 5 wt.% of the composition, or when 5 to 40 wt.% of a reactive diluent contains a methacryloyl group.
