PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To machine a work with high accuracy, in a free curved surface when machining the work into the free curved surface. SOLUTION: This free curved surface machining device has: a holding means holding the work; a movable machining tool machining the work held by the holding means; a reference means disposed apart from a central axis of the holding means at a prescribed distance; a shape measuring device measuring a shape of the work with a central axis of the reference means as a reference; an arithmetic means finding an eccentricity between the center of the machined free curved surface shape of the work and the central axis of the holding means on the basis of a measured result obtained form the shape measuring device, and calculating a tool track of the machining tool according to the eccentricity; and a numerical control means numerically controlling the machining tool by the tool track.
